As a result of effective advocacy on the issue, which started with a CBC National News segment in early April where Kathleen Finlay was interviewed (and numerous interviews since), the province of New Brunswick decided to eliminate the 30-day limit on prescription medication, thereby saving patients and families a big increase in dispensing fees.
